St Mary church, Croome D'Abitot, was built in the early 1760s by Capability Brown with the interior designed by Robert Adam. It replaced an earlier church nearer the present house.

This entrance road is a turning off a minor public road. It leads to extensive car parking areas, as well as the Visitor Centre and the RAF Defford Museum, and other facilities. The house and park are managed by the National Trust.
