Lodge to Milner Field Farm
Farms don't usually have lodges, but this was part of Titus Salt's Milner Fields estate built in 1871-1873, and the lodge was one of three at entrances to the estate. See SE1238 : South Lodge by the drive to Milner Field for one of the others.

Marker stone near South Lodge
Probably an unusual example of a stone water valve marker - it is on the route of the Gilstead Aqueduct which originally belonged to Shipley Water Works. The erased text on the left hand side was probably "UDC" as the text... (more)
