The RIVER OF GOD - Craig Jacobson

A vision from THE HOLY SPIRIT:

    A river flowing!

    Roaring!

    A sunny day!

    Inner tubes floating down.

    Everyone has their own.

The more fun you have…the more people join in!

The more relaxed you are…the faster you go.

The more you splash and kick, the more you spin around

    …for no reason!

and the more difficult it is to stay with the others!

The more drinks, suntan lotion, umbrellas, and other fun stuff you have, the more people notice.

The more you stay together, the more people notice…and want to join in!

The more you talk and praise with each other the more people notice!

    FLOW IN MY RIVER!

    YOU ARE IN MY RIVER!

    ENJOY MY LOVE!

    ENJOY ME!

    ENJOY MY LIFE!

    …MY

    LIFE!

    THE RIVER

    OF

    GOD!

John in his book relays to us how Jesus described THIS RIVER, HIS RIVER:

Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came down to draw water. Jesus said to her, Give me a drink. For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, How is that you being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?. For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. The woman said to Him, Sir You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do you get that living water? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?

Jesus answered and said to her, WHOEVER DRINKS OF THIS WATER WILL THIRST AGAIN. BUT WHOEVER DRINKS OF THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL NEVER THIRST. BUT THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL BECOME IN HIM A FOUNTAIN OF WATER SPRINGING UP INTO EVERLASTING LIFE.

Ezekiel in the Old Testament also describes to us what God showed him about this RIVER:

Then he brought me back to the door of the temple: and there was water flowing from under the threshold of the temple toward the east, for the front of the temple faced east; the water was flowing from under the right side of the temple, south of the altar. He brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around on the outside to the outer gateway that faces east; and there was water, running out the right side. And when the man went out to the east with the line in his hand, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the water came up to my ankles. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through the waters; the water came up to my knees. Again he measured one thousand and brought me through; the water came up to my waist. Again he measured one thousand, and it was a river that I could not cross; for the water was too deep, water in which no one could swim, a river that could not be crossed.

HE SAID TO ME, "SON OF
