    George W. McCree II gave his life to Christ at the age of seven and received the infilling of the Holy Spirit at the age of twelve. He was called into Christian service while a teenager at Faith Tabernacle Church in Portland, Oregon. There he worked in the areas of youth and music ministries. George attended Grant High School in Portland where he became the first African-American Student Body President in the school’s fifty-one year history. Following graduating with honors, he attended Pacific University and Portland State University in Oregon State. He later received his Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Counseling from Hill University. In 1986, George was ordained to the ministry. In a dream, God revealed to him, his life purpose and destiny, “To rescue the perishing and care for the dying.” Since that day, he has worked diligently in ministry, social work and community involvement to aid those less fortunate and unable to help themselves. In 2003, New Vision Christian Fellowship opened its doors, founded by Pastor George and his wife Robyn McCree in Gilbert, AZ. In 2013, Pastor George was consecrated to the office of bishop in the Fellowship of Christian Believers with oversight of youth programming and conference planning. Bishop George was later appointed to the office of General Secretary in 2017. Among his life accomplishments, Bishop George McCree authored the book, “Treasure Chest” published in 2011. Today’s book, “15 Years of Grace” serves as a message to those who have once tasted of the goodness of God but through indiscretions and misconduct have failed God. There are many people who perish because their hopes of restoration have been crushed through feelings of guilt and unworthiness because they have not comprehended the far reaching grace of God. He is the husband of Robyn and the father of three adult children: Angelica, Chantel and George III. He is also the grandfather (papa) of three grandchildren: Arimi, Jaden and Zyiah.
