      INTRODUCTION & BACKGROUND

      Hi, I’m Dale.

      I have been writing song lyrics for a long time but I never have been able to pick up the musical ability to play an instrument or to read or write music.  And I have tried.  It’s not that I don’t know what the music is to these lyrics, I can hear it in my head.  I can beat the rhythms out and sing the melodies but my musically gifted friends (and also those not gifted) gently but firmly suggest I don’t sing in public.

      Some people might say, after seeing the artwork I create for my book covers, I have no artistic ability either, but that is a discussion for another time.  Yes, I did draw the terribly misshapen G clef on the cover.

      Anyway, I decided why should my song lyrics just sing in my head or sit in a file folder?  Why not offer them to the world’s musicians and let you put what music you hear to these lyrics?

      So here are my lyrics.  You may make them your own as long as you publicly give proper credit to me as the author.  (C. Wells Albro and I in the case of Mango Mousse.)

      It would be nice of you, if you made some money using these lyrics, to send a small part of it to Wells and I.  Or, make a donation to a worthy cause such as a non-profit animal rescue group.  Either way, I hope you have fun.
