About this audiobook
An incredibly thoughtful, disarmingly funny, and intensely vulnerable glimpse into the life and ministry of a woman familiar to many but known by few.
“It’s a peculiar thing, this having lived long enough to take a good look back. We go from knowing each other better than we know ourselves to barely sure if we know each other at all, to precisely sure that we don’t. All my knotted-up life I’ve longed for the sanity and simplicity of knowing who’s good and who’s bad. I’ve wanted to know this about myself as much as anyone. This was not theological. It was strictly relational. God could do what he wanted with eternity. I was just trying to make it here in the meantime. As benevolent as he has been in a myriad of ways, God has remained aloof on this uncomplicated request.” ―Beth Moore
All My Knotted-Up Life is a beautifully crafted portrait of resilience and survival, a poignant reminder of God’s enduring faithfulness, and proof positive that if we ever truly took the time to hear people’s full stories . . . we’d all walk around slack-jawed.

Absolutely spectacular. Vulnerable, honest and humble. She shares her tragedies with thoroughness without playing victim; her journey with all the bends and twists; and her deep believe that God is one of restoration, making all things good as He is ever-bound to us, ever near.1 person found this helpful

They say one should not meet their hero’s for fear of disappointment. In this book I have “met” one of mine through her openness and honesty, and yet for knowing so much more of the darkness of her story, I can only esteem her all the more, and be all the more in awe of God’s love and work. A must read!1 person found this helpful

I laughed out loud and cried with "All My Knotted-Up Life." This is storytelling at its best: engaging, honest, sometimes painful, and ultimately encouraging. It is inspirational without being contrived or sappy, proving one can walk through a maelstrom with grace. For Christians, but also for those interested in how faith can shape a life.1 person found this helpful

Listening to this is like sitting with a friend. In hearing Beth’s story, pieces of my own that have never made sense, suddenly do. You didn’t have to share this with us, Beth, but you did. Thank you, unendingly. The Lord has and will surely use it.1 person found this helpful

Hearing Beth read was the best way to hear"read" her heartfelt memoir. My walk with Jesus included many of your studies & Living Proof Live events (including Scripture memorizing get together at FBC in Houston) ❤️ Travis Cottrell- the way he led us in worship & his writing songs, re-writing hymns --- some of my all-time favorite. In Christ Alone ❣️???✝️. God's continued blessings on the remaining time we each have on this journey, this side of Home(Heaven).1 person found this helpful

What an honest and open review of a very human life. Thank you for reminding me that people in the “public eye” are simple humans as we all are. Thank you for using your life story to help reveal and heal the hurts buried so deep I thought Jesus would never get all the root out. I still have a long way to go, but I feel as though you walked that extra mile with me to keep me out of the ditches. Thank you! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

After having completed several of Mrs. Moore's bible studies, I was captivated and eager to delve deeper into her work, her life. I must say, getting to know her through this audio book (hearing her tone and emotions) was an absolute delight. I found myself both laughing and shedding tears as I journeyed along with her. It is with a touch of melancholy that I bid farewell to this book, as it has truly left a lasting impact on me. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

I love being a part of a book club since sometimes there are books chosen that I wouldn’t have picked up. This was one of those. I loved hearing about Beth Moore’s Arkansas roots- even when they were painful to read. I laughed and cried, and I admire her grit and courage for this book. I also would love to hang out and be bffs. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

I laughed out loud more than once. What a brilliant and beautiful memoir. The writing is beautiful and the narration was fantastic. A few parts had the potential to be pretty upsetting, but Ms. Moore did an amazing job of avoiding explicit detail without glossing it over. Portraying the pain and hurt while not burdening the reader with reliving the trauma, if that makes sense. This book was a joy to listen to. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5
