Chemical Safety Advisory Committee Ethics Training
All members of the Chemical Safety Advisory Committee must take ethics training for special government employees provided by the Office of Government Ethics. Members of these advisory committees complete required ethics training that provides background information on Federal conflict of interest laws and regulations. In particular, this training helps members determine whether their personal activities and interests could conflict with their responsibilities as members participating in advisory committee activities.
In addition, members must file a current financial disclosure form before participation in Panel activities. EPA uses this form to determine whether there is a conflict of interest or the appearance of a lack of impartiality with regard to the topic under review by the Panel.
