Lady Gaga stepped into the shoes of Harley Quinn as she teased her upcoming rock n' roll track, The Joker, in an Instagram video uploaded on Wednesday.

The Poker Face hitmaker, 38 - who recently shared a kiss with her fiancé Michael Polansky at the U.K. premiere of Joker: Folie à Deux - could be seen inside an empty Louvre Museum in Paris during the clip.

The star shared a snippet of the song that is featured on her accompanying movie album titled, Harlequin - which is slated to drop later this week on Friday, September 27.

At the beginning of the teaser, Lady Gaga - whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - wore a short, red wig as well as a blue and white-patterned dress.

She completed the look by slipping into a pair of polka dot tights as well as black and white-colored, Converse sneakers.

The singer stood near the edge of a balcony outside as she gazed at the Louvre which was lit up at night.

As she began to walk away, Lady Gaga - who portrays the role of Harley Quinn (Harleen Lee Quinzel) in the anticipated sequel - sang, 'There's always a joker in the pack, there's always a lonely clown.'

The teaser then cut to the songstress dancing inside the dimly lit museum as she began to make her way down concrete steps - similar to Joaquin Phoenix's stair dance scene in Joker (2019).

She walked down a long, dark hallway while surrounded by various paintings as the star continued to belt out lyrics in the background.

'The poor laughing fool falls on his back and everyone laughs when he's down/ There's always a funny man in the game, but he's only funny by mistake.'

The A Star Is Born actress then strolled into another empty room inside the Louvre and a small smile broke out onto her face upon seeing a certain piece of artwork.

'And everyone laughs at him just the same. They don't see his lonely heartbreak,' she continued to sing.

Lady Gaga tilted her head to the side and slowly walked up to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa painting.

'They don't care as long as there is a jester, just a fool. As foolish as he can be. There's always a joker, that's the rule! But fate deals the hand that I see. The joker is me,' the lyrics in the teaser also included.

Lady Gaga began to walk away and looked over shoulder to take one last look at the artwork, and revealed Harley Quinn makeup on her face.

She tossed her arms up into the air as she danced her way out of the abandoned Louvre Museum as the reel came to an end.

In conclusion, text on the screen revealed that an exhibition at the Louvre called Figures of the Fool will begin next month on October 16.

According to the official website, the museum is 'dedicating an unprecedented exhibition to the myriad figures of the fool, which permeated the pictorial landscape of the 13th to the 16th centuries.'

In the caption of the post, the performer wrote to her followers, 'There's always a Joker. #FiguresDuFou #Louvre #JokerMovie.'

Last week, Lady Gaga began teasing track names - such as Still Not October - while also sharing short snippets of other songs on the upcoming album.

And on Wednesday, the actress turned heads as she attended the London premiere of the film.

She was accompanied by her fiancé Michael Polansky and at one point, the couple were seen sharing a loving kiss on the red carpet.

Lady Gaga wowed wearing an eye-catching, red dress that clung to her frame and flowed down towards the ground. She added a cropped jacket on top with dramatic, puffy sleeves.

The singer opted for Harley Quinn-inspired makeup for the screening and her short, dark reddish locks fell down to nearly brush the tips of her shoulders.
