Reality TV pinup Melissa Gorga has revealed how she stays so young looking.

She stays out of the sun to benefit her skin.

The 45-year-old reality star - who has 18-year-old Antonia with husband Joe - is very 'anti-sun' when it comes to her complexion.

And she is trying to encourage her daughter to adopt the same attitude.

She told PageSix: 'My friends giggle at me. I am that girl that will not allow my face in the sun, like I'm so anti-sun on the face. It's crazy.

'If the sun is hitting my skin, I start to have like a panic attack. My friends giggle at me and they cannot believe how great I am with that, and I don't let any slips happen.

'I'm trying to tell my daughter that right now because she's at that age where she'll lay out in my backyard with oil all over her and I'm like, "Please believe me! Just listen to me!" And I try to tell her all the time.'

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star previously explained that wearing less makeup was her secret to looking as 'youthful' as possible.

And she insisted that skincare was the most important part of her beauty regime.

She said: 'Everyday makeup for me, especially in the summer, includes a tinted moisturiser. Less is more for me, especially as I get older because you look more youthful with less makeup on.

'Skin care is the most important thing.

'If your skin is great, you can work on anything else — you can get your eyebrows done, you can get your hair done — and you don't have to get the $250 eye cream; you can get one at CVS that's just as good.'

This comes after Gorga said she is on board for a 'change' in the show amid calls for a cast-shakeup

The star, who joined RHONJ in its third season back in 2011, opened up about the future of the franchise a month after the reunion was scrapped due to the animosity between her costars.

'Listen, I’m excited for what’s to come,' she told Page Six on Monday. 'I think we are due for some type of change. I don’t know what kind of change, but I am excited to see what happens.'

She concluded, 'I am excited to see what’s next and where this show goes from here.'

The brunette beauty remains in the dark about Bravo's plans for the show, however. 'Your guess is as good as mine,' she remarked.

The mother of three's comments echo her sentiment last week when she said she agrees 'with Bravo that there needs to be changes.'

'I agree with that 100 percent,' she told told Entertainment Tonight. 'I think things have gotten really toxic.'

She continued: 'There’s two of my cast members that have played really dirty behind the scenes and it’s coming out... it’s all coming out because it always rises to the top, it always comes out in the laundry. It’s been years, so it’s all coming forward.'

Gorga and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, notably did not share any scenes with each other amid their family's bitter feud.

The tension between the women has affected the rest of the cast, who have all been forced to pick sides.

Currently Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, Rachel Fuda, Jackie Goldschneider and Jennifer Fessler all appear on the show.

Her remarks comes just weeks after multiple sources told Us Weekly that 'RHONJ will forego a traditional reunion this season.'

'The reunion is supposed to be about resolution and it’s clear there’s no resolving any issues between the women,' one of the insiders revealed. 'There is no wrap-up in a bow and it’s not going to happen.'

In 2022, Melissa said that cheating rumours have 'tested' her marriage.

The  star - who has appeared on Bravo's The Real Housewives of New Jersey for over a decade - has been married to real estate developer Joe, since 2004 but insisted that she is determined to downplay any chatter about her personal life.

Asked about the biggest test her marriage has faced since she signed started appearing on television, she said: 'Almost definitely the [cheating] rumours. There's a lot of rumours that come out about me, and you know what? We just keep hitting 'em, swatting 'em like flies, [and] they just keep coming.'

The businesswoman stars alongside her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice on the hit reality show but it was revealed earlier this month that the couple had missed her wedding to Luis Ruelas after rumours had begun to swirl that she had been unfaithful, with Joe admitting that it has been a 'tough' time for them both since.

In the joint interview, Joe told UsWeekly: 'It's been tough. Let's see what the future holds.'

Earlier this year, it was alleged that Melissa had been unfaithful to Joe while she was away on a press tour and that Teresa had known about the supposed incident for over a year but had 'pushed' for it to come out in the 'RHONJ' season 13 finale, which has left Joe potentially 'unable to forgive' his sister.

At the time, the source said: 'One of the secrets was Melissa making out with this guy while she was on a press tour in the city.

'This 'rumour' was something that Teresa had known about for over a year and had been pushing for it to come out. Finally, the finale was perfect timing. Teresa usually uses someone to bring up drama, so she played a part in that, Teresa may not forgive Joe after this and vice versa.'
