NBA champion Jaylen Brown reveals his pick for WNBA Rookie of the Year amid close race between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese

Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown has offered his thoughts on who he thinks should win in the close race for WNBA Rookie of the Year.

The winner of the award is likely to be one of Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese or Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

'House of Highlights' asked a number of NBA players, including Brown, for their thoughts on who they would choose as the league's Rookie of the Year.

Brown and fellow NBA star Immanuel Quickley both believe that Reese should be the choice for ROY.

They're not alone - with other prominent basketball figures like South Carolina coach Dawn Staley and USC star Juju Watkins backing Reese to win the award.

The competition for the award between Angel Reese (L) and Caitlin Clark (R) is heating up

The race between the two should be close - with each playing exceptionally well going into the Olympic break.

Clark is averaging 17.1 points (T-11 in the league), 5.8 rebounds, and leads the league in assists with 8.2 per game on 40.5 percent shooting from the field.

But Clark has also shattered the record for the most turnovers in a season with just under half her rookie campaign to go.

Meanwhile, Reese is averaging a double-double with 13.5 points and a league-leading 12 rebounds per game. She's shooting 40.2 percent from the field.

Reese also set the record this season for the most consecutive double-doubles with 15 in just her rookie campaign.
