Forecast Discussion:

Water vapor satellite on this Friday morning shows high pressure centered over Oklahoma with a trough of low pressure over the West Coast. This pattern is starting to push drier air into Arizona from west to east. The tail-end of the trough will sweep through Arizona this weekend, bringing more dry air with it, which will keep most thunderstorm chances well east of the area.

Regarding air quality, we forecast ozone to be in the Good AQI category through the weekend, before rising back into the Moderate AQI category Monday and Tuesday.
