Boson instability of charged black holes

Abstract
Analysis of the processes of spontaneous and induced creation and accumulation of charged bosons in quasi-bound superradiative levels in a Kerr-Newman black-hole field demonstrates that boson instability can result exclusively from rotation of the hole. In particular, the Reissner-Nordstrom configuration will be stable. If the hole is rotating and charged, the instability may strengthen its charge. 12 references.
