In this study, moisture distribution of coarse type pumpkin seed in the form of spheroid is modelled by using diffusion equation. The analysis made for natural sun drying for constant environment temperature. Simulation results were obtained by Comsol Multiphysics finite element analysis software for 0.5, 1, 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 34 hours respectively. On the other hand, average moisture content as a function of time is obtained and an exponential decay type cure with three parameters is fitted to these results. The results show that drying rate of pumpkin seed is falling with time. Simulations shows a good agreement with experimental results at the literature.

Pumpkin seeds are a major agricultural waste from the fresh-cut produce industry. The objective of this study was to investigate the drying behavior of untreated, whole pumpkin seeds in a fluidized bed dryer at 50-80 • C (2.87 m/s), with a view to producing a high-quality pumpkin powder from dried seeds. Seeds were dried at 50-80 • C to an average equilibrium moisture value of 0.035 to 0.006 g H 2 O/g DM (3.4 to 0.6% wb). Drying occurred in the falling rate period only and drying rate constants ranged from 0.0226 to 0.0900 1/min with corresponding diffusivity values for the first falling-rate period ranging from 4.68 to 18.63 × 10 −10 m 2 /s. The activation energy (E a)-for the first falling rate period was determined to be 43.9 kJ/mol. Of the nineteen thin layer models tested, the Alibas model could be successfully used as a general model to predict the Moisture Ratio (MR) data for all temperatures investigated. After drying, seeds were blended to produce powders, which were found to be high in fat, crude protein and fiber.

Effect of Mobile Gaming / Computer Gaming On the Physical, Academic & Psychological Performance of School Going AdoloscentsBackground: The present research study was design to investigate the factors affecting academic performance as well as physical performance of school going children of schools of Indore district. The variable under consideration were academic performance and physical performance as a dependent variable and gender, age, residential area (rural/urban),accommodation, study hours, sleep hours ,time spend on mobile and electronic gaming were independent variables. Subjects and Methods: The data was collected from 670 students of age group 11-15years of different school of Indore using simple random sampling technique.378 student were found to have access to mobile gaming/electronic gaming with more than 2 hour of routing access. Results: For analysis Chi-square was used. The finding revealed that school performance regarding physical activity, academic performance, & psychomotor effect in the class had declined with repetitive use of mobile phone and electronic gaming. Conclusion: A linear model was also proposed that will be helpful to improve the performance of school going Teenagers.
