Se examinan las alineaciones astronómicas (solares y estelares) de los templos mayor y menor de Abu Simbel, mandados construir por Ramsés II, así como el resto del programa constructivo de este faraón en Nubia, a fin de evaluar el propósito y la datación del mismo, así como sus implicaciones políticas y religiosas.
This paper focuses on the Ketama tribe in Central Morocco and their role in the production of kif and its derivates in the economical activity of the region. Its purpose is to present an anthropological point of view on the relationship between religion and cannabis. How can it be explained that in a country ruled by a religious monarchy, the production of cannabis flourishes ? First, this paper analyses the Ketama tribe’s relation with religion, taking into consideration the impact of kif production on the religions structure. And second, it questions the religious process which has allowed the Ketama to put aside any religious interdictions on cannabis.

Urban Agriculture, Revalorization, and Green Gentrification in Denver, Colorado2019 •
As a sustainability initiative with the backing of civil society, business, or government interests, urban agriculture can drive green gentrification even when advocates of these initiatives have the best of intentions and are aware of their exclusionary potential for urban farmers and residents. I investigate this more general pattern with the case of how urban agriculture became used for green gentrification in Denver, Colorado. This is a city with many urban farmers that gained access to land after the Great Recession but faced the contradiction of being a force for displacement and at risk of displacement as the city adopted new sustainability and food system goals, the housing market recovered, and green gentrification spread. I argue that to understand this outcome it is necessary to explain how political economy and cultural forces create neighborhood disinvestment and economic marginalization and compel the entrance of urban agriculture initiatives due to their low-profit mode of production and potential economic, environmental, and social benefits. Central to how urban agriculture initiatives contribute to green gentrification is the process of revalorization, which is how green growth machines repurpose such initiatives by drawing on their cultural cachet to exploit rent gaps. I conclude with a set of hypotheses to help other scholars test the conditions under which urban agriculture is more or less likely to contribute to green gentrification. Doing so may help nuance debates about the benefits of urban agriculture within the context of entrenched inequalities in rapidly changing cities.

Inspired by Roger Nelson's Global Consciousness Project (GCP), the Global Earth Healing Project (GEHP) uses a network of several hundred physical noise generators to amplify the combined intentions of their users in order to infuse positive affirmations into the global consciousness. As mentioned in the original study design, it was intended to use the GCP as a reference for the effectiveness of its activities. The data of the GEHP consisting of 21 events from 2013 to 2020 is analyzed and statistically compared to the data of the GCP. An astonishing synchronicity was observed, which suggests an interaction between the brain states of the observers and the physical noise generators of the GCP.
Abstrak Simulasi merupakan langkah penting dalam perencanaan. Simulink pada Matlab dapat digunakan untuk membuat simulasi sistem dengan berbagai bidang. Makalah ini membahas pengendalian kecepatan motor DC dengan menggabungkan elektronika daya sebagai pencatu, sistem elektris pada motor DC, dan sistem mekanis pada beban motor DC. Kecepatan motor DC dapat diatur menggunakan berdasarkan besar tegangan jangkarnya, yang dalam hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan penyearah terkendali. Kecepatan motor dikontrol menggunakan metode Proporsional-Integral. Hasil kontrol adalah arus referensi (I ref). Arus referensi tersebut akan dibandingkan dengan arus jangkar untuk mengatur pencatuan thyristor. Pengaturan loop tertutup ini akan menghasilkan kecepatan yang dapat dipertahankan untuk beban dinamis. 1. PENDAHULUAN Aplikasi sistem elektris di lapangan tidak cukup hanya menggunakan analisis rangkaian listrik semata, tetapi sering terkait dengan bidang-bidang yang lain seperti sistem mekanis, sistem thermal, dan sistem kendali. Oleh karena itu, tahap perencanaan memerlukan kajian multidisipliner dalam rangka mencari alternatif-alternatif baru maupun memperbaiki sistem yang sudah ada. Langkah akhir dalam perencanaan adalah melakukan simulasi. Simulasi ini sangat membantu karena dapat menghemat banyak hal, seperti waktu, tenaga, biaya serta resiko yang dihadapi jika terjadi kegagalan. Sekarang ini, banyak sekali software yang menawarkan program simulasi, salah satunya adalah Matlab. Simulink pada Matlab mampu menjembatani banyak sistem dengan sangat sederhana, cepat, dan mudah. Makalah ini membahas simulasi pengendali kecepatan motor DC dengan menggunakan penyearah terkendali semi konverter. Simulasi dilakukan dengan software Matlab 5.31, yaitu dengan Simulink dan Power System Blockset. Kecepatan motor DC diatur berdasarkan pengaturan tegangan jangkar menggunakan penyearah terkendali semi konverter. Simulasi ini akan mengetahui pengaruh perubahan beban terhadap kecepatan motor. 2. TINJAUAN PUSTAKA 2.1 Motor DC Motor DC banyak digunakan dalam industri karena banyak keunggulannya, diantaranya adalah julat pengaturan kecepatan yang lebar, kemudahan dalam pengendalian, dan karakteristik torsi-kecepatan yang bervariasi dengan memvariasikan hubungan lilitan medannya. Arus DC yang dilewatkan lilitan medan digunakan untuk menghasilkan fluks di dalam mesin. Induksi tegangan pada lilitan jangkar dibuat berubah-ubah dengan komutator dan sikat. Perubahan induksi tegangan pada lilitan jangkar inilah yang menyebabkan gerakan putar pada rotor. Kecepatan motor DC dapat diatur dengan tiga cara yaitu mengatur tegangan jangkar, mengatur resistan jangkar atau mengatur besarnya arus medan.
