How Noumena Created the Universe and How Interference and Routine Reflect the Noumena and the Noumena’s Relation to the Human Crisis
THE ESSENTIAL ESSAY2024 •
THE ESSENTIAL ESSAY aMan BLOOM, 2024 I show in PART ONE two creative forces, one outside of matter, NOUMENA, that ‘exists’ as potentia outside of time; the other, ELECTRICITY, comes from it, both underly and affect a physical universe, evolution, entropy and synergy, as well as when intelligence becomes a factor of existence. Without awareness or intent a degree of interference, the trigger of evolution, has been reached by humans -- results upon the sustaining routines the planet and its lifeforms can no longer subsume or tolerate. In PART TWO I claim, “The solution is symbiotic cyclic balance between Interference and Routine, so that changes happen but not so quickly that order is disrupted and I extemporize on that notion. In PART THREE I present detailed examples of the negative processes that place the living environment in jeopardy.

Typologizing Digital Nomad Visas: Comparing Policy Rationales from Tourism to Wealth Accumulation to Immigration2024 •
This article presents a comparative case study of the "Digital Nomad Visas" (DNVs) of Croatia, Thailand and Spain. Analysing common themes for these visas, the article identifies varying policy rationales that have guided their development, naming these the tourism, wealth accumulation and immigration rationales. The article then introduces a two-scale typology of DNVs centred around the dimensions of civic attachment and temporality. The findings illustrate the evolving nature of DNVs from ad hoc pandemic responses to strategic tools for socioeconomic development and draw attention to the visas' role in the broader context of global mobilities and labour market transformations.
The term zoopharmacognosy was first introduced in 1987 as a multidisciplinary study of the selfmedication behavior of many kinds of animals. Humans and non-human animals have been observing and interacting with each other since prehistoric times and learning about nature together. Humans have probably been aware for a long time that animals used specific substances in certain ways when they were sick and that this sometimes helped them to heal. Thanks to zoopharmacognosy, we are beginning to learn more concrete aspects of this relatively new branch of science that deals with how animals treat disease with organic or inorganic substances that they find in their environment. In some cases, they even seem to use plants or other natural items as drugs in a very similar way to ourselves in order to treat the very same symptoms that we do. Although zoopharmacognosy is a young science, in this study we searched for and analyzed the relevant early data and precedents in published papers and...
