Founded in 2015, the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA) is an industry association, whose members represent a substantial majority of the social compliance audit industry.
APSCA’s mission is to enhance the professionalism, consistency, and credibility of the individuals and organizations performing independent social compliance audits. WRAP is a strong supporter of, and contributor to, APSCA’s work, and requires all WRAP-accredited monitoring partner firms to be APSCA members.
APSCA requires its member auditors to complete 48 hours of continuous professional development (CPD) training each year. Two WRAP training courses are recognized by the association’s CPD program: the Two-Day Bridge Training and the One-Day Refresher Training. The hours required to complete these courses count towards APSCA’s minimum CPD requirements.
Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production (WRAP) fully endorses the APSCA Social Compliance Audit Fee that was recently implemented (effective July 1, 2023). For more information, please consult APSCA’s website.
As a long-standing supporter of APSCA, WRAP agrees with their strategic initiative to support the long-term professional development of social compliance auditors, who are essential to the audit process. WRAP is pleased to be part of the initial implementation and encourages all of its accredited monitoring firms to support their auditors’ continuing education and growth.
