Scott W. Klein
I specialize in Modernism and the 20th century English novel, with strong interests in the works of James Joyce and Wyndham Lewis, the history of film, avant-garde music, and 20th century experimentation in visual art. As of July 2013, I'm also Artistic Director of the Secrest Artist Series, the performing arts series at Wake Forest University. From 2014- 2017 I served on the national Executive Committee of the Association of Departments of English, and from 2015-18 I was the Chair of Interdisciplinary Approaches for the Modernist Studies Association. I'm the author of "The Fictions of James Joyce and Wyndham Lewis: Monsters of Nature and Design," which Cambridge University Press reissued in paper in 2006:http://www.cambridge.org/us/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=0521030161I have also edited Wyndham Lewis's novel "Tarr" (the 1928 text), as part of the Oxford World Classics series (2010):http://oup.com/us/catalog/general/subject/LiteratureEnglish/BritishLiterature/18thC/?view=usa
