I typically go by Riven and I've been infesting the cyber space with weird animal drawings since 2009.

My creative endeavors and overall aesthetic preference are very heavily influenced by '00s - early '10s cartoons, anime and furry artwork.

As a result the nostalgia factor is ever present in my work. However my intention has nothing to do with trying to bank on the recent wave of artificial nostalgia. I'm not sure how valid that critisism is for others in the new scemocore/furrycore bandwagon, and I don't care to judge or assume. But I know it has little to do with me.

I'm far more interested in going back and finding what made me so enamored with digital art in the first place. To get that love back for myself! I'm much happier now, but my interests and inspirations haven't gone away. So my aim is to embrace, refine and adapt them into the present.
