A fresh face for Vimeo

Vimeo is the world's most innovative video experience platform. We enable anyone to create high-quality video experiences to connect better and bring ideas to life. We proudly serve our growing community of nearly 300 million users — from creative storytellers to globally distributed teams at the world's largest companies.
Vimeo Staff

We’re committed to making Vimeo the best video platform for professionals and businesses, and that means ensuring our design is intuitive and easy to use. We’re excited to share some updates, which we’ll be rolling out in the coming weeks, that provide a more consistent experience across the platform. Our goal is to streamline how you get your video work done so that you can focus on what you do best: telling captivating stories.

A better search experience

You asked for a consistent experience in Vimeo, and we delivered. Based on your feedback, we’ve eliminated that feeling of being on a different site every time you log in. You’ll see this prominently in our improved search function: The search bar is now pinned at the top of every page, so you don’t have to go searching for search. We also added more easy-to-use filters, made sorting easier, and made sure you can search easily across all Vimeo content* or just in your own library.

*Some Vimeo content, including Staff Picks, isn't available in all countries and regions.

A consistent video settings page

We know that getting your video just right involves more than the footage — you need the right title, the perfect thumbnail, and all the privacy settings to match. But navigating those options shouldn’t feel like a puzzle. We’ve redesigned the video settings page so that it’s intuitive and consistent. Menus have been redesigned and organized for clarity to make it easy to find the right subtitles or audio, so you’re ready to go global.

A streamlined video library

We get it – navigating a sprawling video library can feel daunting. When you’re sorting through 48 takes of Charli XCX’s "Apple" dance, you only want to focus on the videos in front of you, not wrestle with a confusing interface. With improved organization and library search, you can quickly locate, manage, and organize your videos. And you can easily navigate through your folder structure with a clear folder hierarchy, create new folders as you’re creating your structure, and enjoy clearer iconography so you can identify the right folder.

This redesign, which we’ll be rolling out over the coming weeks, is a big step toward making sure Vimeo is the home for video on the internet. We’ll be collecting feedback from you to make sure it’s the best possible experience. And this isn’t just a facelift — it’s a commitment to giving you what you need to do your best work. We can’t wait to see it.

Haven't seen the redesign yet? You will by mid-December.
