Oluyinka Adejumo
Currently works with the New York University Rory Meyer’s College of Nursing (NYUCN) for the implementation of a new Master’s degree in Nursing as part of the Human Resource for Health (HRH) development for Rwanda. Was before this appointment, a Professor and Head of the Centre for Teaching and Learning Scholarship (CENTALS) in the School of Nursing, University of the Western Cape, Cape Town (2009-2015). Was also a former Head of School and Director of the World Health Organisation (WHO Afro) Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Education in Community Problem-solving, School of Nursing, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa (2004-2007). Served as a Health Professions Education curriculum expert to the Lesotho Government between 2008 and 2009 in a project sponsored by the Africa Development Bank. Over 30 years international teaching experience at the Diploma, degree and post-graduate levels for Nursing and allied health professions in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Botswana, South Africa, Lesotho, Rwanda and the United Arab Emirates. Graduated with a first class BSc in Nursing Education, MSc Clinical Psychology, and a Dlitt et Phil in Health Studies. Published extensively in peer reviewed journals, and a number of book chapters.
