The Ultraviolet Explorer
Exploring the dynamic Universe with UVEX

UVEX is an upcoming widefield ultraviolet space telescope to be launched in 2030. It will provide unique insights into the evolution of low-mass galaxies, low-metallicity stars, and transient events such as neutron star mergers and stellar explosions. Learn more.

Contribution of UNIGE

As a partner member of the UVEX mission, the University of Geneva will be in charge of the UVIM door development and will provide simulation-based forecasts for the forthcoming low-mass galaxy survey.
