This conceptualization is built upon the notion of previous studies that propose a positive relationship between graduates who studied entrepreneurship in tertiary education institutions and entrepreneurial intention and the importance of industry experience. Entrepreneurship activities assist in the country employment concern and it also induces economic growth through employment creation and reduces unemployment rate. Based on the theory of planned behaviour, this paper explains on the development of the conceptual framework to investigate the missing link between the acquired knowledge gained from taught entrepreneurial education taught at tertiary institutions and the experience with interfacing with the industry in explaining the needed forces for the graduates to actually b...

A study was conducted in Nigeria, where the data were collected two times, from the same respondents. This approach differs from the common approach that uses a one-time cross-sectional study to obtain the perception of such changes. This approach provides more precise information on their intention at the time the data being collected, and the comparison is assumed to be more accurate and reliable. A simple random sampling technique was used in selecting the participants for the pre-test investigation and their answers are kept in a database using specific code to ensure the participant are correctly marked. This allows the same respondents being retained for the post-test investigation. A pairwise sample t-test was used to compare the students' entrepreneurial in...

Thus creating several mix-evidences with the majority of these studies showing that male intention towards entrepreneurship to be higher than the female counterpart. This research uses a pair-wise experimental approach to examine gender differences in entrepreneurial intention before and after exposure to entrepreneurial education in the six federal universities in south-western Nigeria. The findings indicate that male students demonstrated higher intention before exposure to entrepreneurial education, while female students exhibited the opposite intention. However, after exposure to entrepreneurship education, female students exhibited stronger entrepreneurial intentions compared to their male counterparts. Despite this, no statistical difference was observed between male and female intentions. Yet, when both results were combined to give a composite pictu...

The results indicate insignificant differences in the student's entrepreneurial intention before and after the exposure to the entrepreneurial education. This implies that the present entrepreneurial education in Nigeria cannot be proven as an effective tool to enhance the student's entrepreneurial intention. The findings also provide opposite evidence regarding the norms stating that positive entrepreneurial intention changes due to entrepreneurial education exposure.
