The purpose of this paper are two folds: a) to determine whether strategic information systems sophistication leads to multiple strategic performances in terms of cost reduction and flexibility of operations in the case of Islamic Banks and b) to examine the mediating effect of user information systems expertise (UISE) on the relationship between strategic information system sophistication (SSIS) and strategic performance (SP). This study is to investigate the relationship between motivations towards state government employees. Applying similarity on the motivation in the earlier research on job performance, this study extends this research by examining the relationships between overall job performance and motivation dimensions of and their job performance. A positive relationship, as measured by possess annual salary progression, was found between affiliation motivation and performance. The results suggest that affiliation motivation and job performance is positively related. Conclusions, management strategies particularly can be formulated according to motivation level of employees.

The study proposed two predictor variables i.e. experiences and training perceptions associated with job performance. The questionnaire consisted of five pages close-ended was designed to measure (1) experience, (2) training perceptions and (3) job performance. Factors 1 to 2 are the independent variables and factor 3 is the dependant variable. The questionnaires were then distributed to 150 excellent state government employees via their administrators. 135 sets were completed and used for data analysis- yielding a response rate of 90 per cent. The data solicited were then analyzed using SPSS software where a correlation analysis was done to see whether there were relationships between predictor variables and job performance. None of the predictor variable was found to have positive relationships with the performance. This situation showed that skill levels of the employee have no effect on their performance

However, salespersons only contribute to a small growth for the industry which is 6.3% in terms of assets of the insurance industry in Malaysia. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of personality attributes in determining the sales performance of Takaful (Islamic insurance) agents. Three personality dimensions were used, i.e., selfefficacy, self-monitoring and locus of control and how these factors are related to sales performance. Using a stratified random sampling, a sample of 289 respondents was selected to participate in the study. Two of the three personality dimensions were found to be positively related to sales performance, i.e. self-efficacy and selfmonitoring, while locus of control was found to be inversely related to sales performance. As a conclusion, this research shown that Takaful sales agents with high self-efficacy and self-monitoring attributes perform better in their sales performance. Marketing implications were then discussed with specific reference to the aspects of marketing strategies of Takaful products
