My dissertation examines the adaptation of domestic architectural forms in the north-western provinces of the Roman Empire. I am also interested in the application of big data analysis to archaeology. For my own research, this means the application of network analysis theory to the provincial remains of Roman domestic architecture as a potential means of informing the larger debate on Romanization, shifting from a cumbersome world-systems theory toward something more nuanced.
