Bruna Almeida
Bruna Almeida da Silva, former student at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) in 2015, obtained her Teaching Degree in English and Portuguese in 2019. Her interests are especially directed to English teaching as a foreign language and to Brazilian poetry as well. As a student of languages and also a teacher, Silva focuses substantially on a number of features of the English, such as the phonetic and phonological characteristics of this language and the importance of the focus given on the analysis of different kinds of cultures and identities in places where English is a spoken language. She has also been a pre-service teacher of Portuguese and English in schools around her university and has been attending classes. As a writer, reader and literature student, Silva focuses on the aspects presented in the ancient and contemporaries satires all over her country. Silva has also participated in the Monitoria of Língua Inglesa, where she could organize events and mini courses in the academic area of her course and help students with any questions they had during the semester concerning English. These events included movies, music, culture etc. She has also participated and presented the results achieved during the monitoring project in the Academic Congress at her university, where many teachers and students attended.
