A paper will be cited, usually within one to two years after the paper is published. The number of citations of a researcher’s papers is currently an indicator of his/her scholarly impact. The measurement widely used is the H-index. The calculation of the impact of the researcher using the H-index method does not calculate the weighted classification of the author’s position on each paper. The main author or co-authors score have the same weighted citation weighted of an article cited. The weighting of the number of citations obtained by the author has begun to get attention by Scientometricians in recent years. This is done to differentiate the value of the impact obtained by the main author and co-author. Since 2015, the Government of Indonesia has awarded a number of awards to Indonesian researchers who have the greatest impact value. Assessment of the impact value of researchers in Indonesia uses the Sinta Index version 1 (SI-1) which is based on the researcher’s H-index value in Scopus, GS, and WoS. Problems arise when a researcher with most of his papers as a co-author gets an award, while another researcher who has a position as the main author does not get the award, even though the number of papers and the number of citations obtained are relatively similar. In 2020, we found that Sinta Index was upgraded, namely Sinta Index version 2 (SI-2). There are some differences between versions 1 and 2. This paper will propose a mechanism for calculating the impact of researchers using the weighting of the investigator’s position based on the percent-contribution-indicated (PCI) method. The data source used was the Scopus database. To get and classified the source data, we developed a tool using API. For the rank of the researcher, we used data from the Sinta Index website. Collection software design created using PHP and Mysql. From the research results, it was found that the correlation test by Pearson’s Method of the H-index values of APW and Scopus is 0,44; APW vs GS (0,39) and GS vs Scopus is 0.95. This means that APW method has a weak correlation with the H-index values of GS and Scopus. APW is independent of the two h-index calculations.

The advantages of the H-index are simple mathematic application and can be implemented in many areas. However, the H-index also has weaknesses, such as less sensitive to measure the impact of productive and perfectionist groups of researchers. Many proposals tried to improve the H-index method, such as the well-known G-index. H-index and G-index did not count the number of citations, which is the citations below the H-index value and do not count uncited papers to contribute the index value. This study proposes weighting on uncited papers and the number of citations below the H-index value (lower-h-tail area), as the data to be considered to be measured as an impact to differentiate researchers. The weighting is related to a new method of calculating the impact of the researcher from previous work, namely RA-index. The RA-Index method accommodates productive researchers based on Lotka’s law and the Fairness Jain theory. Particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is used to optimize the weighting of the uncited papers. Weighted values for uncited papers and the number citation of papers with citation value of the H-index values obtained is 0.52. The result of discrimination test from the weighted value manually of 0.50 is 0.09, while the weighting of optimization results obtained is 0.08. From these results, it is concluded that the PSO method is feasible to be used in optimizing the weighting of the RA-Index method. The comparison results showed that the RA-Index is fairer than its competitors. The result of fairness calculation for RA-index (optimized) has fairness value of 0.92 higher than RA-index (not optimized) that has fairness value of 0.91.
The sixth generation of wireless protocol IEEE 802.11ax has been launched and offers better perfo... more The sixth generation of wireless protocol IEEE 802.11ax has been launched and offers better performance than the previous fifth-generation wireless protocol IEEE 802.11ac. This paper reviews the performance of both wireless protocols in the same operating frequency of 5 GHz. We used Network Simulator NS-3 as a simulation tool that offers flexibility, lesser time to set up and ease the experiment to any scenarios we need to perform. Furthermore, this paper focuses on analyzing and comparing the throughput of protocol IEEE 802.11ax Mcs-11 and 802.11ac Mcs-9 with a certain payload size and a various number of clients. The other parameters are set at certain values, such as a spatial stream, channel width, modulation and coding scheme, guard interval time and simulation time. The simulation result shows that the IEEE protocol 802.11ax Mcs-11 has better throughput performance than IEEE 802.11ac Mcs-9 with a large number of clients. In the simulation, a node of access point was accessed of 512 clients, IEEE 802.11ax Mcs-11 have more long delay response time than IEEE 802.11ac Mcs-9 at the beginning for a few milliseconds, but after 0.5 ms IEEE 802.11ax shown a stable and bigger throughput value than IEEE 802.11ac that its shown decrease.

One of the measurements of research quality can be observed by looking at the number of citations. The more research cited, the greater the effect it will have on other research. In addition, the publication of research results is used by most researchers in relation to the promotion of their academic positions. The position of the author in the research affects the weight value of his/her publication. At this time, no application can be used to classify the author’s position of each publication produced. This paper aims to create an application that acted as a search engine to retrieve and collect researcher data along with a list of their publications from the Scopus database. The application uses a REST API or Web Service of Scopus. Web Service allows the integration of various systems with different platforms or architectures for sharing data and services. This application was built using the PHP and JavaScript programming languages. The application’s development uses the Agile Software Development method. Users can also save the search results for the researcher data and researcher documents list in the MySQL database. Furthermore, this application also allows users to download the search result in their computer devices. The System Usability Scale (SUS) method was used to test the application’s usability and gained 80 as the final score.

The level of soybean production is strongly influenced by soil moisture. The problem is that farmers let soybeans grow without adequate maintenance, including without checking the soil moisture. Therefore, an autonomous robot is built that could replace the role of farmers in caring for soybeans. This robot is built to monitor the conditions of the soybean field and classify the image of soybean field soil using the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm. The results of soil classification are used to control the watering node for watering plants. This robot uses the Internet of Things concept with the MQTT protocol integrated with ThingsBoard as a display of monitoring information. The robot is built based on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. In this research, with the KNN algorithm, the robot can classify soil moisture accurately and adequately, where it obtained 83.3% accuracy, 90% recall, 81.8% precision, and 85.7% F1 score. The watering node also performed well with a 94.4% success rate. In addition, soybeans in a field with the robot have better growth than soybeans in a field without robot. That is evidenced by the average plant height and the number of leaves in the field with the robot is better than those in the field without robot, that is 17.28 cm and 9 leaves compared to 15.72 cm and 8 leaves. However, plants without robot have a better stem diameter than those in a field with the robot, which is 2.8 mm compared to 2.74 mm.

These protocols have been widely implemented on IoT devices. Inconsequential use of these protocols in areas that are not appropriate according to the characteristics of the protocols will cause problems such as fast battery drain, transmission speed is too wide with small data sent, and so on. For this reason, it is important to conduct a comparative study, to obtain information on the performance comparison of each protocol. We hope that IoT system designers can make it as a reference in the selection of these protocols. This paper will compare each protocol from the point of view of point-to-point transmission using key performance indicators such as maximum range, transmission speed, latency, power consumption, and resistance to obstructions using built-in and external antennas. Experiments were done with an equivalent testing method using the same components or tools. The data obtained were used to compare each protocol using a descriptive quantitative method by presenting the data in numerical, graphical, or descriptive form. The results of this paper are expected to be used as a consideration for which protocol is suitable for its implementation by providing an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of each protocol. A brief analysis of suitable applications for each protocol is provided.

Digunakan oleh banyak institusi dan organisasi sekarang. Komputer sebagai unsur pendukung dari perkembangannya berkembang dari hanya sekedar alat pengolah data, kemudian berkembang menjadi unsur pendukung sistem informasi manajemen dan sekarang telah merupakan suatu alat yang strategis untuk menunjang kemajuan dan daya saing institusi dan organisasi. Universitas Dipoengoro merupakan salah satu universitas besar di Indonesia. Dalam sejarah perkembangannya, analisa peneliti masih menggunakan sistem informasi hanya sebagai alat pendukung pengolahan data dan belum menggunakan sistem informasinya sebagai alat yang strategis guna mendukung keunggulan kompetitifnya. Dalam penelitian kami ini, kami angkat perencanaan strategis yang bagiamana agar sistem informasi dapat digunakan sebagai satu alat yang dapat menggunakan sistem informasi sebagai alat pendukung keberhasilan Universitas Diponegoro dalam mencapai visi dan misi organisasinya. Metode yang kami gunakan menggunakan alat bantu SPSS dan metode analisa perencanaan strategis menggunakan analisa portofolio (Mc Farlan) untuk merumuskan strategi perencanaan sistem informasi guna mendukung kinerja organisasi Hasil yang kami dapatkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan analisa bisnis portofolio yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar acuan perencanaan sistem informasi di Undip. Metode yang kami gunakan telah diimplementasikan di Fakultas Teknik (diluar lingkup penelitian ini, sebagai referensi bagaimana sistem informasi diterapkan pada satu organisasi secara nyata. Universitas Dipoengoro merupakan salah satu universitas besar di Indonesia. Dalam sejarah perkembangannya, analisa peneliti masih menggunakan sistem informasi hanya sebagai alat pendukung pengolahan data dan belum menggunakan sistem informasinya sebagai alat yang strategis guna mendukung keunggulan kompetitifnya.
Dalam penelitian kami ini, kami angkat perencanaan strategis yang bagiamana agar sistem informasi dapat digunakan sebagai satu alat yang dapat menggunakan sistem informasi sebagai alat pendukung keberhasilan Universitas Diponegoro dalam mencapai visi dan misi organisasinya.
Metode yang kami gunakan menggunakan alat bantu SPSS dan metode analisa perencanaan strategis menggunakan analisa portofolio (Mc Farlan) untuk merumuskan strategi perencanaan sistem informasi guna mendukung kinerja organisasi
Hasil yang kami dapatkan dalam penelitian ini merupakan analisa bisnis portofolio yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar acuan perencanaan sistem informasi di Undip. Metode yang kami gunakan telah diimplementasikan di Fakultas Teknik (diluar lingkup penelitian ini, sebagai referensi bagaimana sistem informasi diterapkan pada satu organisasi secara nyata.
