With electroencephalogram (EEG) device, cognate process can be observerd in brain signal or EEG signal form. In cognitive process different kind of stimulus could affect generated brain signal. Also, given interference in cognitive prcess could affect brain signal. In this research, conducted observation whether gender difference has effect in cognitive process. Mispronunciation detection system has been widely applied in foreign languages, but the system has not been implemented for Javanese carakan letters. This research develops the Javanese letters mispronunciation detection system using Back-Propagation Artificial Neural Networks (BP-ANN). The dataset is obtained from the recorded pronunciation of hanacaraka texts by 24 speakers with 5 repetitions. ALNS method then used to automatically segment the signal into syllables. Research on the correlation of EEG signals to emotions based on high/low arousal and valence, has... more Research on the correlation of EEG signals to emotions based on high/low arousal and valence, has been done before. Some research using the Eigen-Emotion Pattern Kernel method and the Support Vector Machine. The others using the Higuchi Fractal Dimension (FD) Spectrum, the Multifractal Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (MDFA) and the Hidden Markov Model (HMM), but the accuracy is not too good. This research uses Wavelet Decomposition and k-Nearest Neighbor to improve accuracy. The results show that the optimum k values of the k-Nearest Neighbor parameters for this research are 21. Valence's classification accuracy results using Wavelet and k-NN, compared with previous research has the same relative accuracy, ie 57.5%. While the result of arousal classification accuracy using wavelet and k-NN is 64.0%, better than previous research.

After the rose of brain-computer interfaces (BCI) and human-machine interaction (HMI) concept, biomedical signals such as electroencephalograph (EEG) and electrooculograph (EOG) begun to be implemented in control and communication systems. EOG, the signal resulted from eye movement, has been used to design various applications from drowsiness detection to virtual keyboard control. The key of the system developed from EOG signal is the detection system for every eye movement. In this study, a sliding window technique is proposed to make eye movement patterns easier be formulated and using overlap window to avoid local extrema when computing the feature. Evaluation of this method shows that combination of 0.5 s-window length and 25% overlap give 17% and 1% false discovery rate (FDR) in vertical and horizontal channel while the true positive rate (TPR) in both channel is 98% The combination of automatic-window and 25% overlap give a better accuracy with 99% and 100% TPR in the two direction while the FDRs are 22% and 1%.

The design of Raspberry Pi 2-based APRS packets for UGM earth stations has been designed, which i... more The design of Raspberry Pi 2-based APRS packets for UGM earth stations has been designed, which is much cheaper than commercial devices on the market. A TV tuner is used as a signal receiver, the receiver is accessed via a laptop wirelessly. A directed antenna with a controller is used to automatically point to the satellite. The test was carried out by receiving the APRS package emitted by the International Space Station (ISS) satellite and the LAPAN-A2 satellite. The results showed that the tool was able to get the ISS satellite APRS package with a total of 6 packages out of 10 packets emitted. The package received has an average amplitude of 1,200 Hz and 2,200 Hz which is much smaller than the overall audio amplitude. This indicates that there is high noise in the signal. While the APRS package from the LAPAN-A2 satellite has not been successfully obtained.

But the driver ignores it when the body send one of those signals often. The impacts which can occur to the driver, such as make incorrect decision while driving, could happen and lead to the most car accident reason. Therefore, the system which can provide an alarm when the driver feels drowsiness, fatigue or even microsleep is required. The way to detect microsleep when it occurs is to use the Electroencephalograph (EEG) brainwave. The system uses the one channel EEG Sensor device developed by Neurosky Mindwave which can provide eight brainwave signal such as Delta, Theta, Low Alpha, High Alpha, Low Beta, High Beta, Low Gamma, and Mid Gamma. On the other hand, attention and relaxation value can be generated as well. This prototype system tested by the car driver achieved its purpose of detecting microsleep event and alerting the driver by the alarm.

The Mother Wavelets, which is used, are Coiflet 1-5, Daubechies 1-5, and Symlet 1-5. The prediction analysis includes overshoot, autocorrelation error and data pattern conformity, three days prediction, and segmentation. According to the overshoot analysis, it shown that for all the data, the overshoot at the beginning of data increased as its wavelet level increased. While using Daubechies 1 and Symlet 1 produced smallest overshoot among other wavelets (112.2%). The autocorrelation error of data pattern prediction indicates conformity with the original data. During this time, determining the shelf life of tofu still uses human smell and vision. Although ... more During this time, determining the shelf life of tofu still uses human smell and vision. Although this method is realistic, but it is subjective and cannot be used as standardization of measurement. Electronic nose as the alternative instrument, can be used to predict the shelf life of tofu based on the qualitative aroma pattern produced. The information stored in the response sensor is the result of the conversion of metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) gas sensor array. Then the information is extracted using the maximum method and predicted shelf life of Tofu with curve fitting. Six fresh tofu (20 grams) is placed in a plastic container at room temperature. Experiments are made after the tofu has finished production and ready to sell (first day) until it decays (day six). Sensor response is obtained through a sniffing process (collecting 120 s, purging 180 s) with 60 samples per day. The results showed that the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.834 and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) was 8.414 can be obtained. Based on this analysis, the prediction of the tofu shelf life with electronic nose using the curve fitting method was successfully carried out.

Selama ini robot line follower kebanyakan dirancang untuk jalur dengan lebar yang tetap, namun dengan sistem kendali logika fuzzy ini dapat mengenali jalur dengan variasi lebar antara satu hingga delapan titik sensor. Dengan menggunakan perangkat electroencephalogram (EEG), proses ini dapat diamati dalam bentuk sinyal otak atau sinyal EEG. Macam atau jenis rangsangan yang diberikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap sinyal otak yang dihasilkan. Selain itu adanya gangguan atau interferensi pada saat proses kognitif juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap sinyal otak. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengamatan apakah jenis kelamin memiliki pengaruh terhadap proses kognitif yang terjadi. Uji numerical stroop task dengan 3 macam kondisi (kongruen, inkongruen, dan netral) digunakan sebagai acuan untuk proses pengamatan sinyal EEG yang dihasilkan saat proses kognitif antar jenis kelamin dilakukan. Sinyal EEG yang dihasilkan kemudian dilakukan 3 macam proses analisis yaitu analisis Event Related Potential (ERP), waktu tanggap dan energi. Hasil analisis ERP menunjukkan kedua kelas subjek memiliki perbedaan waktu respon yang ditunjukkan dengan waktu kemunculan P3. Secara rata-rata, waktu tanggap kelas subjek perempuan (kongruen = 623,34 ms; inkongruen = 645,18 ms ; netral = 614,91 ms) lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan subjek laki-laki (kongruen = 709,67 ms; inkongruen = 745,00 ms; netral =715,37 ms). Analisis energi menunjukkan pada saat proses uji numerical stroop task berlangsung, bagian otak sebelah kiri (51,36%) dan bagian central (50,65%) lebih dominan dibandingkan bagian lainnya. Namun demikian, belum dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor konvergensi (μ) yang tepat (cepat dan akurat) pada perkiraan TDOA menggunakan algoritma LMS adaptif untuk pelacakan paus lodan. It has been determined the best mother wavelet for stock prediction of SONY 2006 and BNI 2012 bas... more It has been determined the best mother wavelet for stock prediction of SONY 2006 and BNI 2012 based on the Adaplet Method (The Adaptive Filter which is use wavelet as initial coefficients). The Mother Wavelets, which is used, are Coiflet 1-5, Daubechies 1-5, and Symlet 1-5. The prediction analysis includes overshoot, autocorrelation error and data pattern conformity, three days prediction, and segmentation. According to the overshoot analysis, it shown that for all the data, the overshoot at the beginning of data increased as its wavelet level increased. While using Daubechies 1 and Symlet 1 produced smallest overshoot among other wavelets (112.2%). The autocorrelation error of data pattern prediction indicates conformity with the original data. As its wavelet level increased, the autocorrelation error pattern also ramped (near zero). During this time, determining the shelf life of tofu still uses human smell and vision. Although ... more During this time, determining the shelf life of tofu still uses human smell and vision. Although this method is realistic, but it is subjective and cannot be used as standardization of measurement. Electronic nose as the alternative instrument, can be used to predict the shelf life of tofu based on the qualitative aroma pattern produced. The information stored in the response sensor is the result of the conversion of metal oxide semiconductor (MOS) gas sensor array. Then the information is extracted using the maximum method and predicted shelf life of Tofu with curve fitting. Six fresh tofu (20 grams) is placed in a plastic container at room temperature. Experiments are made after the tofu has finished production and ready to sell (first day) until it decays (day six). Sensor response is obtained through a sniffing process (collecting 120 s, purging 180 s) with 60 samples per day. The results showed that the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.834 and the Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) was 8.414 can be obtained. Based on this analysis, the prediction of the tofu shelf life with electronic nose using the curve fitting method was successfully carried out.

Jalurnya bisa berupa garis berwarna hitam diatas permukaan putih atau sebaliknya. Pada penelitian ini, robot line follower menggunakan sistem kendali logika fuzzy dengan metode Mamdani. Selama ini robot line follower kebanyakan dirancang untuk jalur dengan lebar yang tetap, namun dengan sistem kendali logika fuzzy ini dapat mengenali jalur dengan variasi lebar antara satu hingga delapan titik sensor. Robot line follower ini mengimplementasikan 18 aturan fuzzy untuk memetakan antara antecedent posisi dan lebar jalur, dengan consequent kecepatan laju robot. Aturan fuzzy terdiri dari masing-masing 9 aturan untuk kondisi jalur tunggal dan jalur percabangan dua jalur. Abstrak Proses kognitif menunjukkan bagaimana otak bekerja mulai dari proses penerimaan rangsanga... more Abstrak Proses kognitif menunjukkan bagaimana otak bekerja mulai dari proses penerimaan rangsangan hingga menanggapi rangsangan yang diberikan. Dengan menggunakan perangkat electroencephalogram (EEG), proses ini dapat diamati dalam bentuk sinyal otak atau sinyal EEG. Macam atau jenis rangsangan yang diberikan memiliki pengaruh terhadap sinyal otak yang dihasilkan. Selain itu adanya gangguan atau interferensi pada saat proses kognitif juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap sinyal otak. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pengamatan apakah jenis kelamin memiliki pengaruh terhadap proses kognitif yang terjadi. Uji numerical stroop task dengan 3 macam kondisi (kongruen, inkongruen, dan netral) digunakan sebagai acuan untuk proses pengamatan sinyal EEG yang dihasilkan saat proses kognitif antar jenis kelamin dilakukan. Sinyal EEG yang dihasilkan kemudian dilakukan 3 macam proses analisis yaitu analisis Event Related Potential (ERP), waktu tanggap dan energi. Hasil analisis ERP menunjukkan kedua kelas subjek memiliki perbedaan waktu respon yang ditunjukkan dengan waktu kemunculan P3. Secara rata-rata, waktu tanggap kelas subjek perempuan (kongruen = 623,34 ms; inkongruen = 645,18 ms ; netral = 614,91 ms) lebih cepat dibandingkan dengan subjek laki-laki (kongruen = 709,67 ms; inkongruen = 745,00 ms; netral =715,37 ms). Analisis energi menunjukkan pada saat proses uji numerical stroop task berlangsung, bagian otak sebelah kiri (51,36%) dan bagian central (50,65%) lebih dominan dibandingkan bagian lainnya. Abstract Cognitive process show how brain work from stimulus reception until stimuls reaction. With electroencephalogram (EEG) device, cognate process can be observerd in brain signal or EEG signal form. In cognitive process different kind of stimulus could affect generated brain signal. Also, given interference in cognitive prcess could affect brain signal. In this research, conducted observation whether gender difference has effect in cognitive process. Numerical stroop task with three kinds of conditions (congruence, incongruence, and neutral) are used as reference in signal observation process which is generated when the cognitive process in difference genders are done. The resulting EEG signal then conducted three kinds of analysis that is ERP analysis, reaction time, and energy analysis. The result of ERP analysis show both subject class have difference in response time that indicated with P3 peak time. On average, respons time in female (kongruent = 623,34 ms; inkongruent = 645,18 ms ; neutral = 614,91 ms)subject class is faster than male (kongruent = 709,67 ms; inkongruent = 745,00 ms; neutral =715,37 ms) subject class. Energy analysis show when numerical stroop task takes place, left side of the brain (51,36%) and cetral side of the brain (50,65%) more dominant than others parts of the brain.
