The objective of this study was to evaluate the bioavailability of glyphosate in corn plants (bioassay method) in different soil textures. For this was used samples of a Yellow Red Latosol (clayey texture) and Quartzarenic Neosol (sandy texture). In these soils were applied different glyphosate doses (0, 1, 2, 10, 50 and 100 times the recommended average dose of 2 L ha-1) and performed the sowing of three seeds of corn, in the greenhouse. It was evaluated the phytotoxicity, plant height, chlorophyll content, fresh and dry matter shoot of corn plants at 7, 14 and 20 days after emergence (DAE). In order to reduce the recovery period of the orchard coffee after pruning, this work was carried out with the objective of evaluating the influence of different irrigation depths and splitting of N and K with fertirrigation on the growth of coffee plants. The experiment was carried out in southern Minas Gerais State with coffea arabica cv. Topazio MG-1190 implanted with 1.8 x 0.7 m spacing. Irrigations corresponded to 0, 40, 80 and 120% of the evaporation from a Class A pan - precipitation (ECA-P) and N and K split in 4, 8 and 12 applications. A randomized block design with four replications was used. Plant height, diameter of orthotropic branches, number of internodes and crown diameter were evaluated. The fertilizer splitting was found not to provide any increase in growth of the coffee plant. The depth of 120%*ECA-P provided the greatest growth of coffee plants when compared to others.

Por ter propriedade quelante, o herbicida pode formar complexos com cátions, interferindo na absorção de nutrientes pelas plantas. Assim, objetivou-se avaliar a disponibilidade de manganês (Mn) sob diferentes doses de glifosato em amostra sem solo, em um Neossolo Quartzarênico e em um Latossolo Vermelho Amarelo, coletados em Sinop (MT). Para isso, um ensaio de batelada foi realizado para avaliar a influência de diferentes doses de glifosato na sorção do Mn. As doses de glifosato avaliadas foram: 0; 2,5; 12,5; 50 e 125 L ha-1, e as de Mn foram: 0; 15,8; 27,8; 43,2 e 57,1 mg L-1; ambos preparados em CaCl2 à 0,01 mol L-1. The study on leaching, preserving soil structure, is an important factor when one intends to understand the dynamics of herbicides and environmental impacts. Thus, the effect of liming on picloram leaching in a dystrophic Red Yellow Latosol under field conditions was studied using a bioindicator plant. The experiment was set up in a completely randomized design (CRD), in split-plot scheme, with factorial in the plot.
