To convert the aim into reality, Wetherspoon takes the differentiation strategy. The management team employs the assets and competences to provide premium quality products and services in a comfortable environment. An example of specific actions is the Wetherspoon operate 'Tell Tim' suggestion scheme which give employees the chance to express opinions to the chairman (Tim Martin). There are other methods, such as investment in bonus rewards and training programmes, which build up the job satisfaction and the effectiveness of workforce. Thus the company steps forward to the goal. Over the past 5 years, there were positive trends in major KPIs figures (e.g. like-to-like sale, profit and EPS) which approve the adequacy and the suitability of the strategies in some extent.
