[eng] In this research, the concept will be considered of Byung-Chul Han's digital swarm —which designates a new form of relationship between individuals originated from virtuality itself— to establish a theory about falling in love in the digital world, virtual relationships and dating apps. Thanks to research in additional works, such Intimacy as a show (Paula Sibilia, 2008) and The algorithm of love (Judith Duportail, 2019), I will analyze mobile applications such as Tinder and Grindr, and their current use as co-founders of that essential part of the human life: to fall in love. In addition, during this research, I will also consider the cultural and cinematographic content of Her (Spike Jonze, 2014) and Black Mirror: Hang the DJ (Timothy Van Patten, 2017). The lack of community, distance and the respect aspect of the digital swarm will be analyzed. Subsequently, the dictatorship of the positive, and the escape from reality to the virtual image, so characteristic of virtual relationships. Thereafter, the role of weakened Eros will be studied, due to virtual hyperconnectivity, and the reallocation or lack of the use of the imaginary. Finally, I will talk about the implication of the use of algorithms for falling in love, and an analysis of Tinder's algorithm, which ends up in many cases promoting certain values such as competitiveness, classism and sexism.
