El trabajo forma parte de un estudio más amplio sobre el discurso en el aula semipresencial e ind... more El trabajo forma parte de un estudio más amplio sobre el discurso en el aula semipresencial e indaga el aprendizaje y las precepciones hacia la Unidad de Aprendizaje (UA) Ética, Sociedad y Profesión en esta modalidad mixta en la Facultad de Contaduría Pública y Administración de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. El estudio es de enfoque cualitativo, exploratorio, en donde se aplica el método etnográfico con análisis del discurso, análisis de contenido de los portafolios de los estudiantes y observación participante. Participaron en el estudio tres grupos del noveno semestre con un total de 132 estudiantes. Los resultados parciales muestran varios aspectos, por ejemplo el aprecio de la modalidad mixta, el deber ser respecto a la formación profesional, las competencias afectivoemocionales, cognitivas, éticas y sociales promovidas durante el curso. Además algunas herramientas y prácticas aquí expuestas pueden ser útiles para el desarrollo y aplicación en el ámbito universitario semipresencial

This research was to establish the relationship between qualities of learning; learning skills an... more This research was to establish the relationship between qualities of learning; learning skills and academic performance in undergraduate students. 310 undergraduates participated in this research of which 72% are female and 28% male. All responded Scale Learning Strategies of Roman and Gallego (1994) and Questionnaire Learning Styles of Honey-Alonso (Alonso, Gallego and Honey, 1995), and the management system learning was used to establish the academic performance, from the accumulated average of each participant. The results indicate that there is no single way of preferred learning, as most participants rated high in two or more attributes. As for learning skills it was identified that 42.6% use coding strategies. In addition, no significant correlation between the variables analyzed was found. This information demonstrates it is necessary to teach techniques of study to the students, since it seems to be the best route to certify that his learning is the most successful.

También se presentan estudios sobre la productividad de los científicos, competencias y la formación de postgraduados ( Rudd et. al, 2008; Arredondo, 2006; Parada; Corral, 2003; Sánchez, 2003; Guerra, 1998; entre otros). Pocas veces se tiene información sobre la incorporación de los egresados de una estancia de formación en el extranjero al mercado laboral en el país de procedencia, circunstancia que este estudio cualitativo pretende abordar. El trabajo se basa en estudios de casos de investigadores mexicanos formados en el extranjero, explorando la vinculación entre formación en el exterior y situación laboral encontrada en el interior. The social media term has been defined in many different ways. Based on a literature review, Kaplan and Haenlein (2010) define Social Media as “media that allows the creation and exchange of user-generated content” (p. 61). This essentially means that all media that are used to support exchanges among people (e.g. e-mail, social networks, content sharing, and forums) can be considered as Social Media. Alternate definitions consider social media as the interaction among people in which they create, share, and/or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks. La presente investigación tuvo como propósito analizar los diferentes estilos de aprendizaje de l... more La presente investigación tuvo como propósito analizar los diferentes estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes que estaban cursando el primer año de la carrera en una universidad pública de México. Para identificar los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes fue utilizado el cuestionario Honey- Alonso de Estudios de Aprendizaje (CHAEA). El tipo de estudio que fue realizado es de tipo no experimental, ex post facto (Gall, Borg and Gall, 1996; Kerlinger y Howard, 2002). En el periodo académico de agosto del 2012 a junio del 2013. Los datos se obtuvieron del cuestionario aplicado a 1,272 estudiantes de 3 facultades, F1, F2 y F3 y fueron analizados a través del paquete SPPS versión 21, utilizando estadística descriptiva. The impact of information and communication technologies has made that teachers transform their c... more The impact of information and communication technologies has made that teachers transform their condition, eager about training aspects necessary to understand the implications of these technologies in the educational context, establishing a critical stance before the use of these tools in contexts with ICT. The work is a descriptive research of mixed type, supported on the theory based on a literature review and the use of methods such as data triangulation, in order to correlate surveys and Likert tests. As a result, a proposal it’s outlined for teacher training aimed at developing conceptual elements and skills to address the learning in the higher education layer. Some of the conclusions lead to mention the teacher training with conceptual and contextual fundaments for the teacher to acquire participation with the purpose of understanding the particular needs of their pedagogical praxis.
