Industrial production in Turkey decreased 3.9% year-on-year in July 2024, following a downwardly revised 5% drop in June, and worse than market forecasts of a 2.8% decline. Manufacturing shrank 5.1% while production in the utilities sector soared 8.2% and mining went up 3.3%. Compared to the previous month, industrial output in Turkey edged up 0.4%, with mining and quarrying rising the most by 2.1%.
