This marked the fifth time of decrease so far this year, following a 3.1% growth in the previous month, mainly attributed to lower output of motor vehicles (-10.7% vs 1.9% in July), electrical machinery, and information and communication electronics equipment (-6.2% vs 7.5%), and production machinery (-4.6% vs 7.0%).
