Key drivers included a contraction in utilities (-4.2% vs. 1.6% in August), while contractions slowed in transportation (-1.0% vs. -2.6%), construction (-16.6% vs. -18.0%), and manufacturing (-6.2% vs. -6.6%), while growth slowed for agriculture (3.1% vs. 4.5%). On the upside, mining and quarrying grew faster (7.6% vs. 6.0%).
