Danian Hu
Born and grew up in China, I was first trained in college as a civil engineer before turning to study the history of modern physics in the graduate school of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. I continued my study in America with Alan Rocke and Carroll Pursell at CWRU, and Martin J. Klein, Beatrice S. Bartlett, Jonathan D. Spence, Frederic Holmes, Daniel J. Kevles, etc. at Yale University. I taught at University of Massachusetts-Amherst and Morgan State University before coming to the City College of New York.
