Not worth the trouble. Since this app was first introduced, it's gone from bad to worse. It doesn't update activity reliable, and posts I've already read remain as unread for days. As often as not, the list of Notes cycles through the same 4 or 5 notes repeatedly, instead of continuing down the list. It regularly recommends new writers to me that write on subjects that are practically the antithesis of the stuff I tend to read, and it's not possible to edit a comment like you can in the browser.

Substack is great, but this app has several problems. Footnotes don't work at all. Not every post has text-to-speech, even within the same publication, for no rhyme or reason. If the post is too long for email, the text-to-speech reader only plays the truncated version of the article. The player often, and I mean OFTEN, loses yuor place, and just starts over. This is basic audio player functionality.

Mostly does what it's supposed to, but a) push notifications automatically include posts and notes by popular accounts I've never heard of that have nothing to do with what I'm subbed to. It looks like THIS time it logged me out, but still sends me generic push notifications?? b) defaults to a feed of arbitrary "popular" stacks rather than what I'm actually paying to follow (can be changed in settings) c) settings arrangement is awkward
