About this journal

The journal is a high quality journal reflecting both scholarly and practice oriented work in the area of the administrative sciences and related fields, with some but not exclusive relation to Switzerland (e.g. author[s], institution[s], content, relevancy, interest etc.).

Das Journal ist eine qualitativ hochwertige Publikation, die sowohl akademische wie auch praxisorientierte Beiträge zu den Verwaltungswissenschaften und verwandten Disziplinen, mit einem gewissen, aber nicht exklusiven Bezug zur Schweiz (z.B. Autor[en], Insitution[en], Inhalt, Relevanz, Interesse etc.) publiziert.

Ce journal de haute qualité accepte des contributions académique et pratique, des sciences administratives et disciplines connexes, avec une certaine mais pas exclusif référence á la Suisse (p.e. auteur[s], institution[s], contenu, pertinence, intérêt etc.).

  • 2024 Yearbook CFP

    Yearbook of the Swiss Society of Administrative Sciences 2024

    We hereby invite you to submit your article for the 15th Yearbook of Swiss Administrative Sciences. The Yearbook is an open-access journal aimed at scientists and practitioners and published online at https://www.ssas-yearbook.com/.

    The Yearbook 2024 is dedicated to the focus topic “Public Finances under Pressure”. In addition, an open track welcomes submissions on current topics of administrative science.

    Abstracts for both submission options (focus topic and open track) must be submitted to jahrbuch@sgvw.ch by 15 April 2024. The abstract should consist of about one page and must cover the chosen topic as closely as possible. Within 14 days after submitting the abstract, the author will be notified of the editor’s decision to accept the contribution. The complete article must be submitted by 6 August 2024 and will undergo peer review. Accepted articles will be published continuously. 

    It should be noted that the number of articles per year is limited, and we will consider submissions on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, no texts are published that have an advertising purpose at their core.
