The main purpose of the study is to identify key aspects of the formation of environmentally-oriented labor resources and analysis of the impact of global trends on the level of green competitiveness of enterprises. Systematization of literature sources and approaches to solving the problem of determining the level of impact of labor resources on green competitiveness of enterprises showed that today publishing activity and interest in this topic is growing and there is a significant correlation between effective corporate management of labor and increasing green competitiveness. From classical to contemporary periods, the teaching and learning of a second language have consc... more From classical to contemporary periods, the teaching and learning of a second language have conscientiously been guided by pedagogical theories, ideologies, methods, rules, and regulations. The Interaction Hypothesis (IH) is one theory that advocates face-to-face contact between the learner and the facilitator. Although some media for physical contact and communication were mentioned in the Interaction Hypothesis, with time and the advent of technology, many better strategies have emerged. Therefore, this paper assesses some traditional and modern pedagogical strategies for oral language development that were not captured in the Interaction Hypothesis. The paper aims to expose second language teachers and learners to some new techniques and guidelines for oral language development and to reinforce the classical techniques cited in earlier research works. This paper examines the impact that HR recruitment and selection policies and procedures have on ... more This paper examines the impact that HR recruitment and selection policies and procedures have on organisational performance at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE). Drawing from a sample of 39 respondents, the study used the sequential explanatory mixed method design. Quantitative data and analysis were obtained using questionnaires. Qualitative data and analysis were obtained through interviews and focus group discussions. Results from the study revealed that AITI-KACE has a policy on recruitment and selection, which the organisation mostly adheres to. The sources of recruitment and selection were both internal and external. The results also revealed a significant link between recruitment and selection practices on organisational performance. The outcome of the study further showed that there was no significant link between recruitment and selection practices and the employment of competent staff. These languages are mostly the official languages(s), the second or third language(s), the international language, and the indigenous languages spoken by both the learners and the teachers. Sometimes, the official language(s) is/are selected indigenous languages (for example, Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa, in the case of Nigeria).
