Free variety pack of midi-style looping tunes, from January 2021.

About

So yes, MIDI is a standard and not a soundset (and these are all in audio format), but these tracks evoke 90s computer game soundtracks with the sound of Roland sound modules and old soundcards—which is what we often mean by using "midi" as shorthand.

Not aiming for a particular genre here: a few are maybe RPG-ish, some could be puzzlers.  This was me playing with some sounds and getting intensely nostalgic!!

Please enjoy.  Comment if you use these in anything <3

Listen below; there are also a couple bonus tracks with different instrumentation included in the download.

For more intense Action, as well as finish and focus, I made some some bigger and fuller tracks for the ANGEL BIRD: SPACE COMBAT pack.  These were made using the same sounds, so the packs could combine neatly.

Or if you're actually looking for a complete RPG soundtrack, consider Infinity Crystal.

Do you have actual midi source files available for these tracks?

Hiya, not to hand I'm afraid - also I made these in Logic and not with the neatness/process I might have for actual midis back in the day that I tended to make on notation software.

It's great work. Thanks for getting back to me too.

thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed:)
