Yes. You can purchase the Smart Prepaid eSIM through the Smart Online Store and following these steps:

1. Go to Smart Online Store

2. Look for and click on NEW Smart Prepaid eSIM

3. Click Continue on the Friendly Reminder pop-up

4. Click on Add to Cart

5. Click on View Cart

6. Click on Check Out and Pay

7. Fill out the needed details such as the alternate mobile number (foreign or local 10-digit number) and the email address.

8. Input the OTP sent to your email address.

9. Choose your Payment Option

10. Once you have completed your payment, you will be redirected to the Online Store Transaction Completed Page. You may now view the QR code by clicking "View eSIM QR" on the Online Store after completing your transaction. You will receive an email notification for successful payment.

11. Your eSIM QR will be sent to your email.

Please note that you will get 5 tries for the OTP sent via email address. If you are unable to input the correct OTP after 5 tries, there will be a 15-minutes refresh. After the 15 minutes, you can use your email address to purchase again.

To check the status of your order, go to Smart Online Store’s Order Status Page, input your Order Reference Number and the Email Address you used when you submitted your order. You can also view your QR code on the Online Store but please make sure you enable Pop-ups on Safari browser

INSTALLING THE ESIM THROUGH YOUR CAMERA APP:

You can install your Smart Prepaid eSIM by simply scanning the QR code using the camera app on your eSIM-capable device.

If you have received the Smart Prepaid eSIM QR on your email:

• Open the email using another device then scan the QR code using your eSIM-capable device.

• With a Samsung eSIM-capable device, you may also download or take a screenshot of the QR code and upload it from the SIM Manager menu.

Important:

• Make sure you have a stable internet connection before installing your eSIM.

• For Smart Prepaid eSIM purchased via Smart Online Store, please also check the email attachment for the QR code.

1. Ensure that you have iOS version 12.4 and above.

6. Camera will automatically launch.

7. You will be prompted that you have already downloaded the Smart Prepaid eSIM.

1. Connect to any WiFi network/Cellular Data

2. Go to Settings click on Connections menu.

3. Select SIM card manager and Add Mobile plan.

4. Click on Add using QR code.

5. Scan the QR code.

6. Select Add Cellular Plan.

7. Click on OK to turn on new mobile plan.

8. Your new eSIM profile will be displayed.

HUAWEI

1. Connect to any WiFi network/Cellular Data

2. Go to Settings.

3. Select Mobile Network.

4. Select SIM Management.

5. Select SIM 2 settings and click on eSIM.

6. Click on Add eSIM.

7. Scan the QR code.

8. Click on "Add this eSIM".

9. Your new eSIM profile will be displayed.

Most devices allow up to eight (8) to ten (10) eSIMs, depending on your device model and storage.

But you can only use two (2) active mobile numbers in your eSIM-capable device at a time.

Yes. Please keep your Smart Prepaid eSIM QR code in a safe place or create a copy of the QR code (eg. Take a photo, photocopy, etc.) so you can rescan it in case you have accidentally deleted your eSIM from your device.

If you do not have the QR code anymore, please visit the nearest Smart Store to have your SIM replaced. A physical SIM with your current mobile number will be provided to you.

Yes. For Smart Prepaid, you may rescan the QR code using your eSIM-capable other device. But you must first delete your existing eSIM Profile on your old device for it to work.

To erase/delete/remove your eSIM profile from your device, follow the steps below:

iOS

• Go to Settings.
• Tap either Cellular or Mobile Data.
• Tap the plan you want to erase.
• Tap Remove Cellular Plan.

Android

• Go to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager
• Select a plan on eSIM that you want to remove
• Toggle the switch to disable the eSIM
• Tap Remove

Unfortunately, your eSIM QR code will no longer work when you transfer your mobile number to a Physical SIM.

If you would like to change to eSIM, you can upgrade your Physical SIM to an eSIM while retaining your mobile number at any of our Smart Stores nationwide for a fee.

Please report the lost/stolen device to the nearest Smart Store immediately. Our Smart Officer will issue a physical SIM if QR code is no longer retrievable, or Factory Reset is not successful on the lost/stolen device.

To perform Factory Reset over-the-air (OTA), please visit your device manufacturer’s website.

We suggest getting a Smart Prepaid eSIM if you want to keep your physical SIM slot blank for other purposes.
