MOTEM: Monuments Of The Electric Monks
A downloadable Zine
Millennia ago the electric monks built vast lattices of philosophical computers filling their sphere. This gargantuan lattice still floats through the void; it’s computers processing the innumerable secrets of the hump-backed sky.
The electric monks are long gone, but their monuments still stand. Now explorers, philosophers, students, and vagabonds explore the monuments in droves; all attempt to learn the secrets of the electric monks.
This minizine contains a mini setting. A surreal collection of sights and characters within a sphere for Troika. Included is information about the Monuments, who the Electric Monks were, and tables for encounters within these monuments. I created it for The Great Troika! Pocket Sphere Jam! (https://itch.io/jam/the-great-troika-pocket-sphere-jam).
MOTEM: Monuments Of The Electric Monks is an independent production by Jacob Marks and is not affiliated with the Melsonian Arts Council.
Inspirations:
The music of El Huervo, Kognitif, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats, Wax Tailor, Lack Of Afro, and The Electric Peanut Butter Company.
