Abayomi Otebolaku
My research interest is within the broad span of mobile/pervasive/distributed computing/ambient intelligence. Specifically, I focus more on context sensing, mobile data management, and IoT-driven service personalization using machine learning and AI. My current work focuses on the application of AI/Machine learning, Edge Computing, and Software Engineering to address real-world problems in energy, healthcare, and environments.
Currently, I'm a Senior Lecturer(Associate Professor) in computing in the Department of Computing, Sheffield Hallam University, teaching modules (Distributed programming & technologies, AI/Machine Learning, and Data Analytics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels) in Software Engineering and Computer Science.
