Prostaglandinski D2 receptor (DP1) je G protein spregnuti receptor, kodiran PTGDR genom. Njegov endogeni ligand je prostaglandin D2.[1]
DP1 je G protein spregnuti receptor. Njegova aktivnosti je uglavnom posredovana G-S proteinima koji stimulišu adenilat ciklazu, što dovodi do povišenja intracelularnog cAMP i Ca2+.
Ispitivanja na nokaut miševima sugeriraju da ligand ovog receptora, prostaglandin D2 (PGD2), funkcioniše kao posrednik izveden iz mastocita koji podstiče astmatične response.[1] On uzrokuje vazodilataciju
