The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Uncontrolled Recursion via the lookup_handle_cname function when processing an unsolicited mDNS response containing a recursive CNAME record, where the alias and canonical name are identical. An attacker can cause a crash and exhaust the stack by sending a specially crafted mDNS response.
Note:
This is only exploitable if AVAHI_LOOKUP_USE_MULTICAST is explicitly set in the record browser configuration.
