You’ve avoided Orchard for a while, despite its far-and-wide reputation for having the greatest cider festival. Once you’d promised to meet someone there, and that wasn’t a promise you were able to keep...

Truth:
The jilted lover has possession of a powerful artefact that twists her hate into animate life, cutting off escape and memories both. Only if it is taken from her will Orchard’s decline be stayed.

Scope:
A single session of pastoral exploration and investigation, perfect as either a one-shot or convention game, or as part of an episodic campaign.
