Short description of error
Rendering of a mp4 produces artifacts to the very left of the video produced. See attached image with the artifacts ringed in white. They appear as grey lines.

Using View Animation after rendering shows that there is some glitching going on throughout the very left of the viewport.

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error

Open attached .blend file and render animation.

I've re-rendered an animation I made 5 days ago and it now shows the artifacts as well.

@IMBJR-3 It seems like you installed Blender through your package manager. If this is the case, can you try downloading and testing the official Blender foundation version from: https://www.blender.org/download

Sometimes there are bugs specific to versions compiled by other people.


Note for others. I just tested Linux, and I couldn't reproduce the issue here.

I've downloaded the official Linux version and the render artifacts are there too. See attached.

I can reproduce this with all players pretty much. Will check older versions and bisect.
