Their dwelling - a slightly out of tune castle - too. They are not kind to each other but once out of their family environment they are one vast team. Occasionally their blood-ties are stronger than the rogue manners and then they are having a good time among each others, arousing envy. In their small and naughty acts, De Sjanfoeters want to arouse the audience's inspiration to a more vivacious and freer life style. They act a bit bold but not vulgar, they are not patronising but entertaining and use their tongue-in-cheek mentality to picture a modern family without moralising.
