Look at the sad eyes of the man in the picture. He still will not cry even if he feels the pain because it is not considered to be manly when men cry.

I grew up hearing this and found it very odd. I saw men hiding their sorrows and not crying.

The notion was that women could cry, but men should not cry.

At their workplace, neither a man nor a woman should cry as they are working together and should mask their feelings.

I do not like the way some women take benefits by crying at the workplace and making men look like villains. They must learn to fight their battles in society without crying.

However at a death at a funeral or a wedding of their child and other emotional moments, both genders have an equal right to shed some tears or show their emotions of joy. It makes them look more human.

Tears wash away sadness, clear the system within, and make you feel well. Laughter gives you a kick to be more positive, and we are taught in yoga classes to fake laughter if we are not able to laugh. Fake till you reach your goal.
