Howdy! We’ve got some absolutely top-drawer links for you this week. Let’s dig right in.
First up a blast from the past with some early 2000s tech. I stumbled on this site which showcases a collection of photographs taken with the Casio Wrist Camera. It’s cool to see a website built in that era, performing perfectly well. The web is great!
The Markup have a handy tool that checks if a website is using 3rd party tracking scripts and other creepy, invasive tools. It’s a really nice interface and I’m going to use it for getting a good baseline of client sites before we work with them, ongoing. Of course, Piccalilli is clean.
This How to Monetize a Blog article has been doing the rounds recently. For good reason too because it’s great. I just wanted to give it a share because it’s some rare publishing creativity.
This new Stripe developers site is excellent. It is packed with stunning interactions and animations. Make sure you check out the footer and the console!
Lastly, I hate to Plug My Own Stuff™, but I’m publishing a course called Complete CSS and I’m rather excited (read: terrified) to publish it, later in the year. We are taking pre-orders at the moment, giving the kind folks who do-so a nice £100 discount. I’d be over the moon if one of those pre-orders was you. A huge thank you to the mind-blowing number of you who have already too 💛
