Abstract

The invention is a conical conveying duct for micturition, that is, for conveying urine from the penis to the toilet bowl, having the larger opening (A1) sufficiently wide to allow the conveying duct (A) to be worn on the penis. The conveying duct is made of tissue paper, oiled paper or paraffin-coated toilet paper and can be thrown into the toilet after use. A special dispenser, which may be applied in toilets, is suitable for containing a replaceable cartridge that in turn contains a series of conical ducts.

Description

TITLE CONVEYING DUCT FOR MICTURITION
DESCRIPTION The present patent relates to the sector of products for personal hygiene and in particular it concerns auxiliary products for toilets. It is customary for men to micturate even in a standing position and with the minimum undressing. However, for elderly or heavily built men it is difficult to direct the micturition flow correctly into the toilet, with the result that they dirty their clothes, the toilet bowl or the bathroom floor.
Furthermore, for men who are elderly or who have problems, there is the further problem of controlling the micturition flow, which makes the performance of this physiological function even more difficult. A solution adopted by various adults is to micturate seated on the toilet bowl. This solution, however, is impossible in public toilets where the facility is on the floor (eastern closet) or where the toilet and the bathroom in general are in a very precarious situation as regards hygiene. This solution, moreover, cannot be implemented in various other situations, such as open-air excursions, camping, etc.
To overcome the above inconvenient aspects, a new conveying duct for micturition and a dispenser for the same have been studied and implemented.
The aim of the new conveying duct for micturition is to convey all the micturition fluid into the toilet.
Another aim of the new duct is to prevent dirtying the clothes and the person. Another aim of the new duct is to prevent dirtying the bathroom. Another aim of the new duct is to prevent the intimate parts of the person from coming in contact with dirty objects or dirty parts which may have been in contact with the intimate parts of other persons. Another aim of the new duct is to be easy to eliminate.
These and other direct or complementary aims are achieved by the new conveying duct for micturition, comprising a cylindrical or conical element or duct, in easily degradable, foldable material, such as paper, with a suitable diameter and length to convey all the urine from the penis to the toilet bowl.
This duct is applied to the penis and allows the micturition flow to be directed into the toilet. After use it can be thrown directly into the toilet. The dispenser comprises a container suitable for holding several conveying ducts and issuing them one at a time. The characteristics of the new conveying duct for micturition and of the respective dispenser will be highlighted in greater detail by the following description of one among many possible applications of the invention, with reference to the attached drawings. Figure 1 shows the new conveying duct for micturition (A) constituted by a conical funnel element.
The larger opening (A1) of the new conveying duct (A) is sufficiently wide to allow the new device for personal hygiene (A) to be worn on the penis. The smaller end (A2) of the new conveying duct (A) is sufficiently wide to ensure the easy flow of urine and it can be provided with an open chute- type end.
The new conveying duct for micturition (A) is made of folding and easily biodegradable material, for example treated paper. It is possible for all or part of the internal area (A11 ) of the larger end (A1 ) of the new conveying duct for micturition (A) to be coated with a double layer and/or waterproofed.
The new conveying duct for micturition (A) composed as described above is applied to the penis of the man standing in front of the toilet, and directed towards or preferably with the end placed in the toilet. Urine is collected and conveyed by the new conveying duct (A) towards the toilet or into the appointed place.
At the end of use the new conveying duct for micturition (A) can be thrown into the waste paper basket possibly present in the bathroom or preferably directly into the toilet. The easily biodegradable material of which the new conveying duct for micturition (A) is made does not cause clogging of the pipes.
The new conveying duct for micturition (A) can be kept folded and be unfolded and opened for use.
A special dispenser (D is contemplated, represented in Figure 2, suitable for installation in public or private toilets and for containing several conveying ducts for micturition (A).
Said dispenser (D) is constituted by a cylindrical container with internal diameter equal to the diameter of the cartridge (B) containing a series of conveying ducts (A).
On one side of the container, near its top end, there is a vertical slot (D1).
Said dispenser (D) is applied vertically in a suitable position in the bathroom, for example on the wall, and is filled with a refillable cartridge (B) containing a series of new conveying ducts (A) lying flat and inserted one inside the other. In this way the smaller end (A2) of said new conveying ducts (A) protrudes from the bottom of the dispenser (D). A stiffening cone (C) is contemplated, suitable for being inserted inside the set of conveying ducts for micturition (A) and inside the cartridge to facilitate the insertion and extraction of the conveying ducts (A). The removal of a new conveying duct for micturition (A) is accomplished by simply pulling its smaller end (A2) which protrudes from the bottom of the dispenser (D). The outermost conveying duct (A) is thus extracted ready for use. The slot (D1) present on the dispenser (D) makes it possible to check the quantity of new conveying ducts for micturition (A) still contained inside the dispenser (D) itself. An equivalent solution contemplates that the conveying ducts for micturition (A) are not inserted one inside the other, but are connected end to end (A1 , A2) in such a way that, when a conveying duct (A) is extracted from the dispenser (D), the end (A2) of the next conveying duct (A) protrudes. Another equivalent solution contemplates that said ducts are connected together and rolled.
Conveying ducts for micturition (A) and dispensers (D) may be provided in different lengths depending on the type of toilet facility: bowl or eastern closet. The paper used may be of the tissue type or of the toilet paper type, oiled on both or on one of the surfaces. In this case the duct can also be used as toilet paper.
Therefore, with reference to the above description and to the enclosed drawings, the following claims are put forth.
